Kambrook 50 Year Celebrations Campaign
‘Game of Skill Competition’
By entering this competition, entrants are deemed to agree to these terms and conditions.
- Information on how to enter and the prize draw form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
- The Promoter is Breville Pty Ltd trading (ABN: 98 000 092 928) of Building 2, Port Air Industrial Estate, 1A Hale Street, Botany, NSW 2019.
- The competition commences on Monday 1st September 2014 at 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on Sunday 30th November at 23:59 (AEDT). Any entry received after the promotional period has closed will be deemed invalid.
- The winners will be drawn at the offices of Breville Pty Ltd (ABN: 98 000 092 928) of Building 2, Port Air Industrial Estate, 1A Hale Street, Botany, NSW 2019 by a judging panel, on the following dates:
- September Entries x 16 will be Drawn – Wednesday 8th October 2014 @ 11:00am (AEDT)
- October Entries x 16 will be Drawn – Monday 10th November 2014 @ 11:00am (AEDT)
- November Entries x 16 will be Drawn - Monday 8th December 2014 @ 11:00am (AEDT)
- Grand Prize Winners x 2 will be drawn - Monday 8th December 2014 @ 11.15am (AEDT)
- Entry is open to all residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or over. If the entrant is under 18 years old, you must have your parents’ permission to enter. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating outlets and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
- Winners will be notified by writing and phoned or emailed within 5 business days of the draw. Prize-winners will be published on a Perfect Pantry website at www.aperfectpantry.com.au and also on the Kambrook Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/kambrook on the following dates:
- September Winners x 16 will be published – Friday 17th October 2014
- October Winners x 16 will be published – Thursday 20th November 2014
- November Winners x 16 will be published – Wednesday 17th December 2014
- Grand Prize Winners x 2 will be published – Thursday 18th December 2014
- Upon receiving the written notice, the Winners must respond to Kambrook via email to claim the prize within 3 months of the prize draw before a second chance prize draw be conducted.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. By entering into this promotion, you agree to release Facebook from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses) cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by Facebook in relation to this Promotion.
- Personal information will not be supplied to Facebook. It is for the use of the Promoter only.
- Entry to the competition will be via the Kambrook Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/kambrook. To enter the competition, entrants will need to click on the “Like” button associated with this promotion and then complete the competition form with the required personal details. Entrants will also be required to answer the questions within the form.
- Submission which must be:
- original and creative;
- adheres to the word limit of 25 words or less;
- is in English.
- Entries must not contain content that is unlawful; fraudulent; breaches intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights; or defamatory; obscene; derogatory; pornographic; sexually inappropriate; violent; indecent; profane; abusive; harassing; threatening; or objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender. Any entries breaching this condition will automatically be invalid.
- In submitting entries, Eligible Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computer or communication systems.
- Persons that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be disqualified and will not be considered eligible to take part in the Competition.
- Entrants must own all rights in the answer submitted to the competition. The person making the entry warrants that the submission is their own work and not subject to copyright of another party. Entries must be free of claims that they infringe third party rights.
- The Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. There will be 50 prize winners chosen by a judging panel of the promoter, in its sole discretion, based on the creativity of the questions asked.
- There will be 48 Minor prize winners and 2 Major Prize Winners chosen in total. The final 2 Major prize-winners will be chosen from the existing 48 Minor Prize Winners already chosen.
- By completing the application form with your details and answering the question, you will go in the draw for a chance to win one of the following prizes:

- Minor Prize-winners may not choose their prize from the selection of 4 x prizes offered. They will be randomly provided to minor prize-winners and they must be accepted as offered.
- A maximum limit of one prize will be awarded to any entrant whose valid entry is drawn.
- Kambrook reserves the right to share the winners responses or answers in any promotional marketing incentives.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
- The Promoter reserves the right, subject to any applicable gaming authority approval, to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the prize is for some reason unavailable.
- It is the entrant’s responsibility to advise the Promoter of any change of personal details.
- Winners must take the prize as offered. Once the prize has left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter is no longer responsible for any late or misdirect prizes.
- This campaign is a national campaign that includes all states and territories within Australia.
- Entry is only open to Australian residents.
- Employees, directors, management and any family members of the Promoter are excluded from entry.
- Entrants can only register for the competition once.
- Prizes are not transferable.
- Winners may not exchange their prize for cash or other prizes.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered during the course of this promotion or associated with delivery of the prize.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representation or warranty as to the quality and/or suitability of the prize.
- The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://aperfectpantry.com.au/contact/privacy-policy In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, if an entrant selects the ‘Please send me news and promotions from Kambrook’ tick box at the time of entry, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use their PI for promotional and marketing purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning that entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose entrant’s personal information to any entity outside of Australia
- The Promoter reserves the right to use winners’ names for promotional purposes only. All entries and information relating to the competition remain the property of the Promoter and can be used to further promote the brand and its associated products.
- The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by you or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries.
- The Promoter is not responsible for lost, late, incomprehensible or incorrect entries in the competition. The Promoter also accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings in the competition. You should seek independent financial advice about such matters.
- In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or (without limitation) any other event outside our reasonable control, the promoter is entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition - subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority.
- If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter is entitled in our sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and (subject to any written directions given by any applicable regulatory authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
- The winners release the Promoter, and its related bodies corporate from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses) cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winner as a result of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner, or any injury to or death of any person arising out of, or related to, or in any way connected with the Promoter, the promotion or the prize.
- The winner agrees to participate in any news media activities surrounding the promotion.
- If any winner of a prize has not contacted the Breville office within 3 months of the prize draw to collect their prize, the Promoter will conduct a re-draw/second prize draw for that prize on or after at 11:00am (AEDT) Thursday 8th January 2015 at Breville Pty Ltd (ABN: 98 000 092 928) of Building 2, Port Air Industrial Estate, 1A Hale Street, Botany, NSW 2019, subject to any directions from any applicable regulatory authorities.
