    INGREDIENTS

    • 10g butter, melted
    • 1 can cooked apples
    • 1 cups frozen mixed berries
    • 1 tsp vanilla paste
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • ½ tsp nutmeg

    TOPPING

    • ¼ cup flour
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • 25g butter
    • ½ cup rolled oats
    • ½ cup macadamia nuts, crushed
    • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut

    DIRECTIONS

    1. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, apples, berries, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg until well combined.
    2. Spoon mixture into 3 small serving dishes (soufflé moulds are perfect) or you can use one larger dish, though this might take a little bit longer to bake in the oven.
    3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar and butter. Rub the butter in with your fingers so that the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
    4. Mix in oats, nuts and coconut.
    5. Sprinkle over berry mixture, about an inch thick.
    6. Preheat the air frying oven to 180°C and turn the timer dial to 5 minutes.
    7. Once the ‘HEATING’ light goes off, turn the timer dial to 15-20 minutes.
    8. Place the dishes into the Air Chef basket and allow to cook or until golden on top.
    9. Serve with milk or yoghurt, or a dollop of ice cream.

TIP: you can also just make the crumble in one big dish but it will take a little bit longer.
