Basil Pesto Pasta

1 cup of pesto
INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp flaked salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups basil leaves
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup pinenuts, toasted
- 4 serves spaghetti pasta, cooked
DIRECTIONS
- Place the olive oil, garlic, salt, lemon juice, basil leaves, parmesan and pine nuts into the chopper bowl and place and secure the lid on top. Attach the stick mixer motor and blend until completely combined, approximately 30 seconds.
- Stir through the pasta and serve immediately.
NOTE: If pesto does not blend easily, add a teaspoon of water and continue to blend.
