Bulgogi Beef

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1kg beef fillet, sliced
    • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms
    • 1 x recipe beef marinade (see below)
    • 1 x butter lettuce washed and cored
    • 2 x cups cooked rice

    BEEF MARINADE

    • ½ white onion
    • 3 garlic cloves
    • 1 x 2cm knob ginger
    • 1 red apple
    • 1/3 cup soy sauce
    • 2 tbs brown sugar
    • 2 tbs agave
    • 1 tbs seasoning, Maggi
    • 1 ½ tbs pure maple syrup
    • 1 tbs sesame seeds
    • 1 tbs sesame oil

    DIRECTIONS

    BEEF MARINADE

    1. Place all the Beef Marinade ingredients into the 700ml cup; securely attach the blending blade holder to the cup.
    2. Align the cup onto the motor base, press down and turn the cup clockwise to blend. Blend for 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
    3. Unscrew the blending blade holder and marinade is ready to use.

    BULGOGI

    1. Marinate beef in the marinade overnight or at least 2 hours.
    2. Heat your KAMBROOK banquet frypan.
    3. Place marinated beef in a single layer into KAMBROOK electric frypan. Leave for 1 minute, then turn over. Cook to your liking. (Be sure not to overcook or it will be tough to eat)
    4. Serve on a bed of rice or spoon into lettuce cups with a spoonful of cooked rice.
