    • SERVINGS
      1 loaf

    INGREDIENTS

    • 380ml warm water
    • 1 ½ tsp dried yeast
    • 15ml vegetable oil
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 2 tsp caster sugar
    • 650g bakers flour
    • 1 tsp bread improver
    • 200g pumpkin, 1cm cubes
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 200g parmesan cheese, 1cm cubes
    • 1 sprig rosemary

    DIRECTIONS

    1. Place all ingredients into the bread maker tin in the order listed and place and lock the bread maker tin into position inside the bread maker.
    2. Close the lid and select the ‘DOUGH’ setting using the ‘MENU’ button. Select the ‘START/CANCEL’ button and allow to knead.
    3. Preheat a fan forced oven to 180C and line a baking tray with canola oil spray and baking paper.
    4. Remove the bread maker tin from the bread maker and flip the dough out onto a lightly floured bench and gently knead for 1 minute.
    5. Split the dough ball into 3 or 4 dough balls and roll each out to a 40cm long sausage shape. Braid the pieces of dough, by pinching them all together at the end and crossing them over until they form an even plait.
    6. Place the dough braid onto the prepared tray and continue to push the pumpkin and parmesan cheese into the gaps in the braid until they are all used.
    7. Place into the oven for 30 minutes and then allow to stand until cooled.
