    • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
    • 1 medium brown onion peeled, halved, thinly sliced
    • 1 clove garlic peeled, minced
    • 1/2 teaspoon lemon rind
    • 2 tsp sweet chilli sauce
    • 1/2 large red chilli thinly sliced
    • 500 grams beef blade steak diced
    • 1 teaspoon curry powder
    • 270 ml light coconut milk
    • 1 tablespoon kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
    • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
    • 2 tsp coriander leaves, to serve


    1. Turn the selection dial to the SAUTE setting on the pressure cooker and place the oil, onion and garlic into the bowl to sauté for 5 minutes.
    2. Add the lemon rind, chilli, sweet chilli sauce and curry powder and allow to sauté for 3 minutes.
    3. Pour the coconut, kecap manis, peanut butter and steak and stir to combine.
    4. Securely place and seal the lid onto the pressure cooker. Switch the control dial to setting 4 on the Kambrook manual pressure cooker, and 33 minutes (Soup / Curry setting) on the Kambrook digitial pressure cooker, and allow to cook.
    5. Release the pressure from the pressure cooker by turning the pressure release valve to the right.
    6. Serve with rice and coriander.
