Kambrook's Blitz2Go competition kicked off in September. We are very happy to have received hundreds of entries, and this was a hard decision, but we believe September's two winners are most fitting. We're sharing their wonderful smoothie recipes below.

A huge congratulations to Nichole and Madison who have each one their very own Kambrook Blitz2Go.

TROPICAL PARADISE SMOOTHIE

Nichole McKee's entry was her Tropical Paradise Smoothie, and here's what she has to say about it.

My Tropical Paradise Smoothie first came about when our Family owned a Prawn Trawler Business, and we used to travel up and down the east coast of Australia. Whilst staying up in Sunny North Queensland, Tropical Fruits are everywhere, so we came about freezing fruit to use at a later stage to beat the heat, with Delicious Yummy Smoothie's. Mango is so easily freezed along with Pineapples. Ideally they should be Cut into small portions (1 cup of each) and placed in zip-lock bags to keep their freshness. Then its as easy as pulling out 1 of those bags and mixed together with a cup of yoghurt and 1/3 cup of your desired milk preference (Cow, Soy, Rice etc) with a few ice cubes if desired (really not neccessary but if you want, it's up to you) and blitzed together. The result is a smooth fruity tropical paradise that wakes the senses and keeps you cool and refreshed and full of beans to boot. Perfect for that afternoon snack without any nasties. Everytime I make some, we think immediately of up North and the beautiful beaches, reef and water and all the great times we had up there. It's truly a Holiday in a cup!! Lastly, Enjoy!!  :D

BANANA BLUE SMOOTHIE

Madison Sexty submitted her Banana Blue Smoothie, and this is her story:

This recipe was made up when I started my weight loss journey after having my son over a year ago. It provided me with a nutsiest breakfast or snack that was low in calories and that also tasted delicious.
