  1. Preheat a fan forced oven to 180°C.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the butter, apples, sugar and cinnamon and stir over a low heat until sugar has dissolved and the apples have a nice thick caramel coating, about 6 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Place the apple filling in a sausage shape on the puff pastry sheet, leaving 2cm distance from the left and right side of the pastry sheet. Fold the left and right side of the pastry sheet in and then roll the base up and the top down to form a sealed roll. Brush with milk and then dust with cinnamon sugar.
  4. Place onto a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve as is or with some whipped cream.
