1. In a banquet sized frypan, heat the oil over a medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown. Add the mince and cook until it is browned and separated.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Simmer over a low heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve, stirred through spaghetti and topped with shaved parmesan cheese.

NOTE: If cooking in a slow cooker, cook on high for 5 hours or on low for 8-10.
