Chilli, Basil and Broccoli Beef

    Ingredients

    • 500g beef fillet – cut into thin strips
    • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 2 tbsp fish sauce
    • 2 tsp caster sugar
    • 2cm piece ginger, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 red capsicum, sliced into thin strips
    • 4 shallots – sliced
    • 1 large red chilli, de-seeded, finely chopped
    • 100g broccoli
    • 15 basil leaves

    Directions

    1. Place the beef strips, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, ginger and garlic into a bowl and stir to combine.
    2. Turn the heat to 5 (maximum) for 3 minutes and then add the oil and beef and sauté for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    3. Add the capsicum, shallots, chilli, broccoli and basil leaves and sauté for 1 minute stirring constantly. Turn the dial to 3 and place the lid on top and allow to cook for a further 1 minute.
    4. Remove from the frypan using a silicon spoon.
