  1. In a frypan, heat the oil and butter over a medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown. Pour into the soup maker jug
  2. Add the pumpkin, parsnip, carrot, sweet potato, celery, peppercorns, salt, bay leaves, thyme and vegetable stock and place the soup maker blending lid on top and secure to the base.
  3. Select the ‘CHUNKY’ soup setting and then select the ‘START’ button.
  4. Stir through the smoked ham and serve with fresh parsley.
