1 kilogram royal blue potatoes cut into 2cm sized chips
3 litres vegetable oil
1 tablespoon flaked salt
Directions
Fill and preheat a 3L deep fryer with oil.
Preheat an electric frypan to a medium heat. Add olive oil and allow to heat.
In a bowl, combine the mince, egg, onion, garlic, sauces, herbs and breadcrumbs. Roll into 6 balls and then flatten into patties. Place into the electric frypan and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Remove and place onto paper towel.
Add chips to deep fryer and allow to cook for 6 minutes. Drain on paper towel and sprinkle with flaked salt.
To assemble buns, add 1 lettuce leaf, 2 slices of tomato, 1 burger patty and top with BBQ sauce. Serve with chips.
