Rockmelons (cantaloupes) are in season in Australia through Summer and into Autumn. Be sure to enjoy them prior to Winter beginning and the variety of fruit available decreases and the chills of Winter creep in. Rockmelon is jammed packed full of a wonderful range of vitamins and an abundance of antioxidants.

Rockmelon is a rich source of Vitamin A and C, with just 1 cup of the fruit providing almost the recommended daily intake of both of these vitamins.*   This recipe includes less than a cup of rockmelon, however it still provides a valuable boost of both of these vitamins.

I love that the Blitz2Go can have this refreshing drink ready to go in less than a minute.  I enjoy using sparkling water as the liquid addition in my Blitz2Go combinations as it makes them a little lighter than the addition of a dairy or dairy equivalent.  My kids think that it is a huge treat to have the sparkle!

Pin this recipe as it is also great in the hot summer months.  It makes a fabulous ice block (icy pole) if poured into moulds to freeze for the kids. It helps them to cool down and re-energise after a busy day at school.
