Once you embrace pressure cooking, you’ll discover the great variety of meals that are easily made from scratch. Many of today’s electric pressure cookers also come with a host of other cooking functions, such as sauté and slow cooking, making it a versatile time-saving and space-saving  appliance. It’s no wonder these multifunctional gadgets have become the perfect one pot wonder, particularly as we move into the cooler months.

We’ve compiled a variety of our top five pressure cooking recipes to try out this autumn.

    1. A lot of people may not realise how easy it is to cook quinoa. It’s a rich source of protein and can be enjoyed in warm or chilled dishes. Tip: we use the white rice setting in our pressure cookers to prepare quinoa and other selected grains.
    2. Our sticky barbeque ribs are perfect as a snack for one or to entertain visitors.
    3. Warm up to our chunky minestrone soup in as little as 30 minutes.
    4. Lamb shanks are a great substitute for Sunday roasts. Serve with pasta or mashed potatoes – simple!
    5. Mushroom and Lamb Stew is a crowd pleaser in the cooler months. Use a pressure cooker to speed up the cooking time and enjoy with pasta, jacket potato or sweet potato. Alternatively, add sliced peppers during the cooking process and serve with corn chips or tacos for a Mexican variation.
