Lump-Free Mash

INGREDIENTS
- 1Kg white potatoes (or sweet potatoes if preferred)
- 250g unsalted butter
- 30ml milk
- salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Peel the potatoes and cut into quarters, place in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Add salt and bring to the boil. Simmer for 15 minutes
- Test the potatoes with a knife (they should slide off the knife)
- Drain off water and allow potatoes to stand for 5-7 minutes. With the Kambrook X blade Stick mixer with the potato masher attachment for lump-free mash. Once the potatoes are nicely mashed, add milk and butter, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
