    INGREDIENTS

    • 175g raw prawn meat
    • 1 ½ cloves garlic
    • 1 x 2cm knob ginger, chopped small
    • 1 shallot, white part only, sliced
    • 50g water chestnuts
    • 1 egg white
    • 1  tbsp soy sauce
    • ¼ tsp sesame oil
    • 8 pieces white bread slices, with the crusts cut off
    • ¼ cup sesame oil, for brushing on the bread
    • ½ cup sesame seeds, in a flat plate
    • 30ml sweet chilli sauce or soy sauce to serve

    DIRECTIONS

    1. Place the prawn meat, garlic, ginger, shallot, water chest nuts, egg white, soy sauce and sesame oil into the Blitz Pro 700ml container and screw on the blending blade and lock into place on the Blitz Pro motor base and blitz for 15 seconds.
    2. Pre-heat the Kambrook pancake perfect pan until the ‘READY’ indicator light illuminates.
    3. Brush the bread slices with the extra sesame oil and spread  1 tbsp of prawn mixture onto each piece of bread evenly and turn upside down in the sesame seeds so that the prawn is covered with sesame seeds.
    4. Place 2 pieces of prawn bread, sesame side down, into the pancake perfect pan, close and lock the lid and cook for 5 minutes or until the prawn meat is cooked through.
    5. Carefully remove the prawn toast from the pancake perfect pan and continue to cook the remaining prawn bread.
    6. Serve with sweet chilli sauce or soy sauce.
