Kombucha is a tea based probiotic drink. It is naturally low in sugar and is said to have many beneficial health properties.

I purchased the Kombucha that I used for this recipe from my local health food store but you can also make it yourself if you are inclined to do so. I really enjoy drinking it so I am sure that I will get to that point in the near future.

As Summer fades and Autumn commences new seasonal fruits and vegetables will begin to appear in stores and at the marks. Lime and Passionfruit are two examples of Autumn produce that make a wonderful fresh combination of flavour.

This smoothie provides a refreshing zing to keep you in the warm weather spirit of Summer. The combination of Passionfruit and Lime provide a perfect transition to the cooler season and it’s produce. The addition of tahini softens the sharpness of flavours. If you do not have any in your pantry, replace with nut butter instead.
